The magic of Rumpelstiltskin

On Thursday we watched a play called Rumpelstiltskin. When we went to the high school thats where we watched the play.

Free Research

Today were researching about a topic. Mrs. Littleton was so kind to let us pick our own group. Each group had to pick their own topic about what they wanted to research on.

Water cycle diy's

Today we learned about evaporation and condensation and the rest of the water cycle we learned that the sun is the element that starts the cycle. Mrs. Littleton told us that we were going to do stations about the cycle. One station that we did was making a bracelet about the cycle.

After we made the bracelets we also watched a video about the cycle it was on a app called brain pop jr. We all thought it was fun. After we watched the video we got to take the test. We got to watch it on the tv in the commons area.

Mrs. Littleton also let us play a video game. We were happy until we found out what she meant was it was one of those learning games about the water cycle. Honestly it was not so bad, actually it was pretty fun.

National Talk Like A Pirate Day!

 

today is national talk like a pirate day, we also have a test about reduce, reuse and recycle it seemed to be easy.  we played castle ball at gym and our music teacher taught us a new song. we also made a paper were we find a picture that you can reduce, reuse or recycle  then you glue that picture under the right label, you can only put three pictures under each label.

 

 

Learning about conservation

First we watched a video about energy conservation, the video was about energy usage. It said we should not really use a lot of gasoline because that can cause a lot of air polution. So we use public transportations instead.  After we watched the video energy conservation we wached a new video called animal conservation which was about saving animals that can't live in the wild because of poachers.

After the videos we worked as a class to make an anchor chart to organize what we learned about conservation.

decimals and fractions

today mrs.littleton told us we were gonna do an activity about fractions and decimals. we had to pick four colors. we could use markers or colored pencils. we had 100 cubes on the page. once we were done with our design we had to count how many of each color like if we had 20 blue blocks we would put 0.20 and for the fractions we would put 20 out of 100. the activity was pretty fun to all of us we wish we could do something like this throughout the year.

Being creative

today we used buildwithchrome.com to build houses on the computer with legos.  the other classes that came after us can build more stuff on top of our houses.  tomorrow we will see what added!
