Classroom Jobs/Classroom Blog

As part of our Leader In Me initiative in our school we have class jobs to reinforce responsibility and leadership.  As you can see, we have a photographer and blogger for our classroom.  This means that the photos on our class blog and words written on our blog will be done by student leaders in our class.  I am very excited to see what they will post this year.  Enjoy!!!  -Mrs. Littleton

Field Trip Coming Soon!!

Don't forget, our field trip to the Magik Theatre is coming up on May 2nd.  If you are sending your child with a lunch from home, please make sure it is in a ziplock bag or brown lunch bag with their name on it.  We will not have room on the buses for lunch boxes.  Thank you!

Teaching iMotion

Some of Littleton's Leaders taught other kiddos in my class how to use iMotion today.  We used the app to take pictures of inherited trait examples.

Special Olympics!

Brain Breaks!

We have been using gonoodle.com for brain breaks in the classroom and we are having SOOOO much fun!!!  We do exercises with dancing, singing, track and field, and all kids of active things to get our brains back on track!

Let's Meet The Mayor!

For the past two weeks we have been learning about our government. Today, the mayor of Lytle, Mark Bowen, visited our third graders to explain a little bit about what our local government does for us.

The kids also wrote questions to ask the mayor.
