Hatching BUTTERFLIES!

Yayyyyyy! Our Painted Lady butterflies hatched. We saw one hatch this morning.

We gave our butterflies oranges because the oranges have sugar like nectar.  In a couple of days, we will release our butterflies to their natural habitat.

This is what a Painted Lady looks like.

Student Showcase

We had so much fun on Tuesday showing off all of our learning this year.  Thank you to the Lytle FFA for awarding 4th grade a beautiful bouquet of flowers for having one of the coolest displays at the showcase; our succulent garden.  We are very proud of all of the work we have accomplished this year.

Growing butterflies 2

We moved our butterflies into their new habitat for the next 7 to 10 days or until they hatch from their crysalides. We are very excited to see the new butterflies!! We'll keep you updated!!
