growing butterflies

In our classroom we have caterpillars. We are studying them to learn the life cycle of a butterfly.

As you can see, they are already forming their cacoon/crysallis.  We must be very careful not to bump or move the caterpillars cacoons so they will turn into butterflies.

Jump Rope for Heart pep rally

Jump Rope for Heart is a fundraiser for kids with heart disease.  Today, we had a pep rally to reward us for our hard work raising money.  The teachers of the classes that earn the most money and had the most participation had to either kiss a pig, get a pie in the face, or go in the dunk tank!!!!
