Texas Revolution Presentation

Learning about Energy

This is us doing a sound experiment, with cups and different kinds of string.  We learned that the thinker string made a lower sound and the thinner string makes a higher sound.

This is us doing an experiment with batteries, wires, and a lightbulb.  We did many different tests.  We were trying to make the lightbulb light up by connecting the battery to the wire.  It was exciting when it finally worked!

Beginning Fractions

We got back in the swing of things this new year learning about fractions.  We worked on equivalent fractions with fraction tiles.  We're having so much fun and can't wait until next week's lessons!
